El Paso, Texas: The Texas Department of Transportation is currently undergoing heavy construction on Alameda Ave. starting Friday, June 29, 2012 at 8 p.m. through Friday, August 3, 2012. Alameda Ave. will be closed to traffic from Raynolds and Val Verde Streets; you will not be able to access Alameda from Raynolds and Val Verde. Alameda Ave. will be closed to two way traffic and will be maintained at all times.
El Paso Children’s Hospital along with the Texas Department of Transportation is asking the public, patients, physicians, and employees to use the alternate routes listed below:
- If you are coming from the East side on I-10, the best option for getting to the El Paso Children’s Hospital campus will be to take the Paisano exit, transition onto Alameda Ave. and then come straight through the Raynolds intersection. The traffic light will be flashing yellow during this entire time.
- If you are coming from the West side on I-10, the best way to get here would be to exit at Piedras and go South to Alameda Ave. Piedras is the last bridge over the railroad tracks prior to Raynolds Street.
