Former Patient Delivers Toys, Gifts to Children’s Hospital

EL PASO — Patients at El Paso Children’s Hospital received toys and gifts from nine-year-old Imani Hernandez, a former Pediatric ICU patient.

Imani had been treated at the hospital after a 200 lb beam from a swing set fell on her face. She was grateful for the care and attention she had received during her stay, and in response held a Cinco de Mayo thank-you party to collect donations and gifts for other patients. 

Imani collected 70 gifts and distributed them to patients Thursday.
