Alameda Construction Update:
Raynolds Overpass to Alameda Ave. Now Open
El Paso, Texas: The Raynolds overpass to Alameda Avenue is now open. The Texas Department of Transportation will be installing new concrete pavement on Alameda Avenue on Friday, July 27 through Saturday, August 4, 2012. During this time the main vehicle entrance to El Paso Children’s Hospital will be closed for approximately one week.
El Paso Children’s Hospital along with the Texas Department of Transportation is asking the public, patients, physicians, and employees to use the alternative entrance from Friday, July 27 to Saturday, August 4, 2012. Access to the Visitors’ Parking Garage, the Circular Drive and the El Paso Children’s Hospital Emergency Room will be through the Emergency Department Entrance, located on Alameda Avenue. The alternate entrance is approximately two hundred feet west of the main entrance to El Paso Children’s Hospital. El Paso County Sheriff’s Department will have officers directing traffic at the temporary entrance from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., seven days a week. The main entrance to El Paso Children’s Hospital will re-open on Saturday, August 4, 2012.
