Luis E. Zuniga P.T. DPT, C.H.T., M.T.C., Board Member

Luis E. Zuniga is a hometown homegrown physical therapist with 41 years of experience, currently serving as the President of Fyzical El Paso, which operates seven rehabilitation centers in the El Paso County area. A proud graduate of Cathedral High School, he completed his education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and has worked toward excellence and expertise in outpatient orthopedics, attaining advanced certifications in the care and rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity injuries. Luis has served as a clinician and educator, speaking both domestically and internationally on topics related to hand injuries and rehabilitation. He has also held the position of President at Healthmasters Hand and Physical Therapy Centers in El Paso, Texas. Actively involved in his community, he has served as a civil service commissioner for El Paso County and on the board of the American Diabetes Association. Luis completed over 20 years of service with the El Paso Sun Bowl Association, culminating in his role as President in 2002. He is married to his wife of 45 years and is a proud father of two sons: his oldest is a Gastroenterology fellow at the University of Nebraska Medicine, and his younger son is the Vice President of Corporate Development at Ondex Automation, specializing in corporate development and acquisitions.
