Kinsley
Kinsley was born August 20, 2019 at birth she was diagnosed with CHD, more specifically Pulmonary Valve Stenosis. Within 12 hours of birth she was airlifted to a partnering children’s hospital in Texas where she underwent a Balloon Valvoplasty. Two weeks later she was discharged to return home and has since been under the care of her Cardiologist here in El Paso Dr. Sahewalla. Returning to El Paso we were aware that Kinsley would be in need of open heart surgery before she turned one.
Our world was turned upside down but we were blessed with the best team of cardiac specialists that we could ask for. Dr. Sahewalla has gone above and beyond working with the team in San Antonio to care for Kinsley since the day she was born. In May of 2020, the middle of a pandemic, Kinsley underwent open heart surgery to help her pulmonary stenosis and to close her VSD.
Today she is nine month post open heart surgery. She is thriving, growing, living her best life and showing us each day just what a blessing life is! She’s full of life, love and her presence brings smiles to anyone in the room. If you were to see Kinsley, without knowing what she’s been through in her one year of life, you wouldn’t believe what a heart warrior she is. She’s our 1 in 100 and we couldn’t be more thankful to all of those involved in her care. #Kinsleystrong
