Parker

The sun was bright. The music was pumping! Parker was a 10-year-old at a swimming pool in the summer–exactly where he was supposed to be!

Suddenly, he slipped on the water slide and hit his head. Everything seemed normal at first, until the car ride home when his mom noticed Parker constantly repeating himself. They rushed to an emergency room.

Imagery revealed severe bleeding in Parker’s brain! The team immediately called resident neurosurgeon Dr. David Jimenez for emergency surgery. Pediatric experts available in El Paso went to work to address a potentially life-threatening brain trauma.

Today, Parker is an avid tennis player. And to pool slides everywhere, he says, “I’m baaaaack!”
