General Pediatrics is the primary care of pediatrics, focused on helping maintain the overall, long-term health of children from birth through young adulthood. It’s a broad discipline, involving diagnosis and treatment for common childhood illnesses and injuries, preventive care like vaccinations and check ups, monitoring of children’s development and growth and more. General Pediatrics at El Paso Children’s Hospital provides comprehensive, primary care to children and adolescents from birth to age 18.
The James A. “Buddy” Davidson General Pediatric Floor at El Paso Children’s Hospital is a fully-staffed and equipped medical unit that provides general, in-patient health care to children and adolescents. The floor is staffed by highly-trained and experienced General Pediatricians, as well as certified pediatric nurses and clinical support.
