General Pediatrics is the foundation of children’s healthcare, supporting the physical, emotional, and developmental well-being of children from birth through young adulthood. This broad specialty includes the diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses and injuries, preventive care like vaccinations and routine checkups, and ongoing monitoring of growth and development.
At El Paso Children’s Hospital, our General Pediatrics team provides comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and teens up to age 18. Care is delivered by experienced pediatric hospitalists — physicians who specialize in the care of hospitalized children. Our hospitalists are available 24/7, ensuring that patients receive consistent, attentive care during their stay. Board-certified in pediatrics, this incredible team has trained in children’s hospitals all over the world. In addition, the team also work closely with nurses, pharmacist, nutritionist and your child’s primary pediatrician to ensure seamless, coordinated care from admission through discharge.
