The Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at El Paso Children’s Hospital is the first of its kind in the Greater El Paso region, with state-of-the-art EMU beds designed to enhance the diagnosis and monitoring of children with seizures. This unit – staffed by a team of experienced registered technologists, nurses, and pediatric epilepsy specialists – is equipped to provide comprehensive care to various pediatric neurology cases.

The Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) is a dedicated wing staffed by a team of experienced nurses, registered pediatric electroencephalogram (EEG) technologists, and pediatric neurology specialists with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
