JJ wears bowties and suspenders. He’s from Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he lives with his mom, dad and big sister. JJ was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was four in 2014. He was able to receive his three year course of treatment close to home because El Paso Children’s Hospital is nearby. Today, JJ is in remission, and that’s worth bragging about!
